Learning About Heat
We had a wonderful guest speaker teach us about heat. Mr. Crandall was kind enough to share his expertise and knowledge. The students learned about conduction, convection, and radiation. The best part was the application to real life and safety. A big shout out to Mr. Crandall for making this happen!

School wide Halloween parade beings at 8:30.
Students are not allowed to wear masks or bring fake weapons.
6th grade is having a themed party with Harry Potter. It is exciting to bring literature into our celebration. A big thanks to ALL the room moms and volunteers that will make this possible.
Sincerely,

Mesopotamian Simulation
Both the morning and afternoon classes simulations are going great. The students have been working in teams to make their tribes into empires. The students have been navigating the history, hardships, and decisions that the ancient Mesopotamians went through.
They have learned a lot about ancient technology, government, and ancient people. The learning never stops as we will be starting our Egyptian Simulation on 9/21/15.
The Mesopotamian Simulation ends Friday 9/18/15. Make sure that your tribe has grown to a city and have your objectives fulfilled.
Thank you,
Mr. Frank
